Weekly Insights:
What is Open Pedagogy?
To me, open pedagogy appears to be a term that has not yet been fully defined. Creating and reusing OER by teachers and students, as well as connecting the outside world to the educational process in institutions in an open way, are all common themes across all viewpoints. This enables active learning.
Why is it important?
To make learning more active, Open Pedagogy offers teachers a wide range of didactical strategies. The use of ICT technologies to collaborate with students and practitioners from other cultures is a feature of the learning processes based on this pedagogy that challenges students to develop.
Future?
I believe open pedagogy will be utilized more frequently because it enables educational institutions to establish an open link with the outside world, which is essential for students to get the skills they'll need for the future.
